Lesson 1 - Pray Over You and the Word

Prayer:
No Bible study should be attempted without being Spiritually prepared through prayer to God. He wrote the book. He wants you to understand Him and His word, therefore first seek Him. Pray intelligently about your intentions in this bible study. Seek God and ask Him for guidance and understanding. Take some prayerful breaks and meditate upon the words you have read. Continue to pray for guidance and leave your mind open to the influence of God's Holy Spirit to bring truth.

A Format for Prayer...

Pray To The Father
Pray Through The Son, Jesus Christ
Pray In The Holy Spirit
(Matthew 6:5-8; Hebrews 10:19-22; John 14:6; Ephesians 2:18)

Pray Without Sin or Disobedience
(Psalms 66:18; 1 John 1:9)

Pray In Obedience and Righteous Walk
