3. EFFECTS OF THE FALL (Rom. 5:12, 19; Jas. 1:15; 1 Jn. 2:16)

   1. Depravity
      A fallen nature. Adam, by sinning, became a different being from the one God created.
      Likeness of God destroyed!
      He came under the domination of Satan (2 Cor. 4:3; Eph. 2:1-2; Col. 1:13; 1 Jn. 5:19; cp. Gen. 1:26).

   2. Universal depravity
      Gen. 6:5 (cp. Gen. 1:31)
      Job 14:4; Ps. 51:5
      Mk. 7:15,20-23; Rom. 3:9-18
      Jas. 1:13-14; Gal. 5:19-21; Eph. 2:3
