Welcome to The Ancient Path
Philadelphia College of Bible
Alumni Memories

Welcome to the AncientPath.
This area of this website has been set aside to honor the men and women of the past who labored to educate other men and women in the essentials of Bible and Bible Ministries. Many of those who sat under their teaching have spent their lifetimes serving the Lord Jesus all over the world.

Both my wife and I were educated in the early 1970's at the Philadelphia College of Bible. We both are constantly amazed and thankful at and for the Biblical education we received there. So, in honor and thanks we have dedicated the materials we have gathered from many sources to a home here on this website. They have labored under the love, encouragement, and blessings that the Lord Jesus Christ has given to them. We are profoundly grateful to those whose names and labors are represented here.

Each of the New and Old Testament book studies contain Introductions, Outlines, Expository Analysis, and notes from Cairn University's Dr. Clarence E. Mason. Also from CE Mason is Biblical Introduction, Old Testament History (both in our Bible Resources area) and a menu selection "Doctrine." Click here for a complete review of "Mason's Notes" in their original form.

In another area there are audio downloads of Dr. James Borror, John Cawood, Malcolm Cronk, Ralph Keiper, Earl Radmacher, Charles Haddon Robinson, Dr. George Slavin, Jack Wyrtzen, and even a Chapel Program "The PCB Morning Show" featuring students - all recorded at PCB during the early 70's. There is also Dr. Lewis Chafer's Audio Recordings of, "Spiritual Life Conference", presented at Dallas Theological Seminary in 1948 is available. Recently added is an interview with the late Dr. Mae Stewart from 1974.

We also have the writings of Dr. Douglas B. MacCorkle, Th.D. through the generosity of his family. He was Professor and Academic Dean at Washington Bible College, Washington, D.C. (1957-63) and dean and founder of Capitol Bible Seminary, both in Lanham, Md. He was Professor, President and then Chancellor, Philadelphia College of Bible, Philadelphia, PA (1963-79) and President, American Association of Bible Colleges. During his tenure, at PCB, the college attained accreditation from the Middle States Association and added two new bachelor degrees, the bachelor of music and the bachelor of social work. MacCorkle took the Presidency of Philadelphia College of Bible in 1963 following Charles C. Ryrie. He was also a Pastor, Prophecy Lecturer, Loving gracious husband, father, and friend. He went home to be with the Lord in July of 2002. Posted to this site are his "Prophetic Peaks, an Exposition of the Olivet Discourse." and  "God's Own VIPs" - How God uses Election, Foreknowledge, Predestination, Calling, Justification, and Glorification for our good. There is also "Devotions in the Book of Hebrews," that were originally from the book "Beside the Still Waters." We hope you will read, study, and enjoy them. There's also information on W.W. Rugh, E. Schuyler english, and Cyrus Ingersoll Scofield.

Every book of the Bible has information and bible studies from various writers. We try very hard to provide bible believing authors and teachers who love Jesus, the Christ, the Lord God and follow the Bible Christian Ancient Path.
