Lesson 5 - Write Out The Word

• 1.  Re-write your paragraph text so that only one idea is on each line, and each idea is placed on its line in such a way to demonstrate its relationship to the line above it (see The VISUALIZED TEXT sample below).
• 2.  Spend time with each word and phrase to make sure you understand where it belongs in your Visualized Text format.
• Check all of the CONNECTIVE words (Wherefore, for, since, then, as, so as, if, but, and, etc.).
• 3.  Transfer your lines, devices, colors, and any other markers you have used to the Visualized Text.
• 4.  Go back and read the Chapter several times again (the more you read it, the more you own it).
• 4.  Think about and make notes on your thoughts about how the paragraph you are studying relates to the Chapter as a whole.
• 5.  Go back and read, several times, your marked hand written copy.
