The two passages below describe what will happen in the future.  We don’t know when but it will happen as God has promised in His word. 

Throughout the Bible we are told about why Jesus came as a person.  He died on the cross and rose again and right now He is with His Father in heaven. 

He’s coming back and the verses below describe some of what will happen when He does. He will come for those who believe Him and what He did. 

The next parts of what “He Did it For Us” will give further details about what is to come in the future. It’s important to know because the decision we make about Him now will determine our future. Please consider these truths: 

1 Thessalonians 4:16-26
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.

1 Corinthians 15:22-26
For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own order:
     1.                Christ the first fruits,
     2.                after that those who are Christ’s at His coming,
     3.                then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom to the God and Father, when He has abolished all rule and all authority and power. For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet.
     4.                The last enemy that will be abolished is death.
